4. Shop for timeless pieces

One of the best pieces of thrifting advice that I can give you, is to look for timeless pieces, be it jewelry or any clothing item. If you'd ask me then I would suggest that you must look for some high-quality trench coats, blazers, jewelry, and denim because these items never go out of style. In addition, you can also style the item for an n number of times.

5. Try them on

Yes! You heard correctly. Put on the clothes. Even if it is exhausting or even unsanitary, you must try them on before spending money on them. Why put it on? Well, I believe you always try on clothes before purchasing them at a retail store, so why not at a thrift store? In both cases, you are spending money and purchasing the item because you intend to wear it in the future. 

Another reason to try on the clothes is that the attire might not fit you well as you imagined.

Thrifting can be a great way to find things, but it takes a lot more than just going in and grabbing everything you want as it's crucial to know what you're doing before going into a store so that when someone catches your eye, it will make sense.
